Kaled

I have been working at my aunt and uncle's all week because my cousin is getting married at their house next weekend. My aunt and uncle are not in the best of health and need help with some gardening and some housework; I was glad to help since I had nothing else to do.

They have a massive garden and I came home today with stuff. Tomatoes, a couple peppers, some broccoli, and a leafy thing called kale.

I've heard of the stuff, seen it around. Never tried it though. I'm usually not that much of a chicken when it comes to food (among the things I've tried-baby octopus and goat,) but I just never cared enough to try.

But with an armload of the stuff, it appeared to be the day where I tried it.

I knew from being around that the stuff could be made into chips; I had no idea how so I researched the recipe. Easy. First one was doable and ridiculously simple.

And so here I sit, the entire leafy load of kale has been reduced to these little crispy green chips because SOMEONE ate pretty much every single one of them.

I did save a bag for my aunt and uncle to try, but the rest are mine and it appears they won't even get cold.

I'll probably get more tomorrow because they have tons of it and if I like it, well, there we go.

Gotta eat these now-they are calling my name and I'm gonna answer.

Ta,
Bec
