Two Down, Two To Go

That's right, folks. I have two assignments left because Field Experience is outta here!

Despite screwing up my back muscles for quite possibly the rest of this weekend (cue painkillers and lots of heat tonight) I am finished. Got 6 hours. I am damn well done.

Two more and FREEDOM! FREEDOM! AH HA HA HA HA...

Ahem.

I'm hoping to get one of them done tonight and then hopefully the next one will be done tomorrow morning (if not today.)

Oh, and this is a lark-I have to go food shopping tomorrow because I have nothing in my fridge or freezer besides stirfry, three bananas, half a tomato, and three carrots. In Skyrim, you could maybe make something out of that, but in the real world, that constitutes nada.

So I have to get some stuff to survive the week because I don't really have anything, including corn tortillas, which are essential to my survival these days, and rice milk, which has replaced regular milk in my fridge because 1)I can drink it without having a 'reaction' to everything I cook with it and 2)I have cocoa, dammit, and I want to drink it.

I have nothing to do for an hour and a half. I'm going to go goof off.

Ta,
Bec

PS: I also forgot to mention that while trying to pull my Sigma Tau Delta canvas bag up around my containers full of lunch and dinner today, I did what I thought was impossible and cut my finger with one of the loose strings.

That's right. I got cut with a piece of THREAD.

And I thought I'd gone through all the substances one could cut themselves with-paper, rock, scissors (ha ha), glass, wood, metal, and now a cloth canvas bag. Clearly I underestimated myself.

I am apparently talented at a thing I don't want to be talented at-getting hurt in ways other people manage to avoid.

Granted, it's only a bit of loose skin, but it damn well hurt at the time.

I hope it seals over in the next little while because I really do not need damage to my fingers this week (cue the sixteen injuries I'm sure to have for saying that.) I suppose it might be healed enough when the parents arrive so that I don't have to cover it with a bandage just to clean the chicken, but we'll see.

It'll heal. I just feel stupid (again) and oh ho ho, it's kind of humorous that I actually managed to cut myself on cloth.

I hope I have amused all three of you reading this. Be assured something similar to it will happen again.
