Working at the library this morning.
Got a bit of a headache and don't know why. Took some stuff for it, and it should go away.
However, it's not the headache that's got me worried today. Oh, no.
I'm having lockups in my hands again.
They've been going on nigh two weeks now, and were happening mostly when the weather was bad. However, today is bright and sunny with not a cloud in the sky...and my right hand froze up this morning.
I tried desperately to believe that the weather was the cause, but with perfect weather going on and my right hand on the fritz, I couldn't really push it away anymore.
Smartass me has an appointment at the end of the month for my hips and shoulders, so it's only another 30 days before we find out why exactly I'm having pain, tingling, and then slow movement in my fingers.
I'm only having one or two freezeups a day, but that's more than normal and every time it happens I tend to go into a minor state of panic.
I am trying very hard not to be terrified, because as I said the last time when the methotrexate tore me apart, the next step is probably injected drugs. I hate needles. I've put up with them because I had to, but potentially having to get them more often just makes me want to find a corner where I can stiffen up in peace.
Add to that that these drugs are not cheap and it means I really, really need a job so I can have insurance so I can pay for them.
It's taken two hours for my right hand to go back to normal today. It just went back-the sensation's like cold water on my fingers.
Let's all hope this doesn't keep on going, huh?
Ta,
Bec
