Almost done scheduling my last classes. I'm tossing in an independent study course that I hope I'll be able to get it all worked out by May. My plan is to work at the county library this summer during June and August when I don't have classes. I'd take two classes on campus otherwise and then three in the fall, finishing my education in the second week of December.
That's the plan at the moment. Now we'll see if I can pull it off.
I did something stupid today. Got into work this morning, was stapling the newspapers like I was supposed to and realized I didn't staple in the other part of the newspaper. I went to staple it in and jammed the staple, so I worked on it until it popped out. Then I had to put another line of staples into the stapler. Then when I went to test its stapling capability...my thumb got in the way.
Lucky for me, only one end sank in to the hilt but it didn't curl under, so I just yanked it right back out again. Clean and straight as a pin. If the thing had curled under I probably would have had to go to Student Health and have the stupid thing removed.
I am very much fine. I bled for a bit and put a bandage on for an hour or two until it sealed up. Doesn't even hurt now. Not much of a wound. I can barely remember which thumb it was.
So not much damage done, but I FELT stupid, which is why I mentioned it.
I have a paper to write now, so ta,
Bec
