One Measuring Set To Rule Them All...

So nothing going on in my world, save that Mum got her new measuring cups and spoons this morning and was very pleased with them. Now I can get rid of the ten other sets she had in the cupboard....

The regular entry is gonna end here, cause boy, oh, BOY have I got some STUFF to show the Merlin fans...

Okay, so I have something for the Merlin fans, BUT I'm putting a major spoiler alert on this. Not kidding. it's a potentially MAJOR, HUGE, SPOILER for Series 3 (which they're still working on.) If you haven't seen Episode 8 of Series 2 or if you really don't want to ruin the fun of finding out in Series 3, DO NOT LOOK.

Okay, having given fair warning to all of you, here is a lovely photograph of Igraine Pendragon (nee Dubois), Arthur's mum, that I found:

Note the dress, please, cause this next pic is gonna blow you away...

(My dearest thanks to yavannauk at Livejournal for this picture. Kudos!)

Yeah, that's Katie Mcgrath, the one who plays MORGANA, wearing what appears to be the EXACT. SAME. DRESS.

See, THAT would be why there was a large warning before I posted these pictures. This is a pretty big spoiler. Imagine the hoopla if Morgana was wearing this dress in front of people like:

Merlin (who'll remember the dress from the vision last series)

Gaius (who'll have to remember Igraine originally wearing the thing)

Arthur (who thought the whole dead Mummy (no pun intended) thing was a fakeout by Morgause to get him to kill Daddy Uther. Guess NOT!)

and last but not leastly, UTHER, whose face I'm dying to see when he sees Morgana wearing it. Ha ha ha...

I assume that either Morgause has told Morgana the whole story (so now she knows the circumstances of Arthur's birth) or just gave her the dress as a gift but Morgana doesn't have a bloody clue whose it was or why Uther's looking at her like that...

You gotta hand it to Morgause, though-psychological warfare will probably work better on Uther than trying to get Arthur to kill him...

But it does lend weight to my running theory of "they're all family!"
