I've had a bit of a problem the last half-day or so. Yesterday, Mum and I were in one of the local thrift stores, and for some reason I got a feeling like I had a rubber band tightened around the lower half of my lungs. It was sharp and shooting and hurt like hell.
After a couple of minutes the sharp pain disappeared, but the rubber band feeling didn't and decided to persist for three more hours. I couldn't stand up for very long and it felt like I had a weight in my chest. Even my back hurt.
Mom's been tired(er) lately, so I volunteered to do the drying of the laundry last night despite the pain I was in. I went and while the laundry was drying, the band around my chest sort of let go. I put it down to a weird muscle cramp.
I felt good for an hour, maybe two, but right in the middle of feeding Spritey, my right side seized up again, same as before. And I've had a dull ache in my side since last night (it hasn't let up yet.) Taking a deep breath makes it worse, and any position I sit in helps the cramp but makes my back hurt. I'm currently watching Doctor Who and even laughing is killing me.
I have no idea why the cramp came in the first place, why it left, or why it came back but only on the right side. Mom thinks I should go see a chiropractor, but it isn't in the joint this time; I'm sure it's muscle.
Hopefully the damn thing goes away so I can do other things today. I get bored lying around doing nothing.
Ta,
Bec
