Due to sneaky people who would probably want to look at their Christmas presents when they arrive here to visit next week, I wrapped them up today. Swapped the boxes Sara's and Mom's arrived in so that they can't tell what theirs are and so the size would fit the present (seeing as Sara's came in a box too big and Mom's came in a box that was almost too small, but when I swapped the boxes they were just right.)
What I was worried about was screwing up Mom's with Sara's because they've been sitting there for a while in the boxes they arrived in, and when I swapped the boxes I started to think Sara's was still in the big one and Mom's was in the little one.
I deliberately labeled the big one with MOM so that if something should happen to the tags I placed on the presents and I mix them up again, the big name on the top of the box inside the wrapping paper should get them swapped back to the right people before a massive mistake gets made on Christmas morning (hopefully.)
The only present I have yet to get from the mail is Anna's. I have no idea when it will get here but when it does (hopefully not next week) I'll wrap it and sock it in with the others. Christmas accomplished.
Doctor Who on Sunday was scary enough, but the last ten minutes were probably the most terrified I have ever been of David Tennant (and that includes his scenes in Harry Potter, Secret Smile, and Randall and Hopkirk, although the makeup and the bride dress he was wearing sort of made it funnier than scary)
I won't go into details but let's just say the Doctor decided he was in charge of everything, which is never, ever good for him. Ever. He was Valeyard-ing big time.
Waiting on UPS to bring me my package, and I have to go make a couple of phone calls.
Ta,
Bec
