A New Idea

I have an idea for one of my poems. Or several.

Most people of the average persuasion think that poetry is a 2-D deal. On paper, hard to unravel, flat and uninteresting.

I feel it's time poetry, specifically mine, took a step forward. So here's my plan: I'm going to (hopefully) videotape or take a picture of myself doing something relating to the poem I'm working with. As soon as I get the camera back from my thieving sister, I'm going to go ahead with some of these ideas. We'll see if they work.

Hopefully, I won't lose my nerve.

I don't know what kind of reaction I'll get and I don't know much about artistic license, but I hope that people will notice and comment, good or bad. Here's hoping I can push my idea into reality.

Ta,
Bec
