Sliding Downhill

I'm noticing now that my inflammation is coming back. Took a day for me to notice the aches and twinges starting to creep back into me, but they are coming back. By next weekend I probably won't be sitting very comfortably in church and by two weeks I will be a good enough mess to probably go to the doctor again.

My keyboard on my desktop computer has blown out on one side, so I'm typing this on the laptop. Keys on one side of the keyboard are no longer working, which means if I want an A or an S or even a Q I can't get it to work.

I probably blew a fuse or something so I'll just type all my work on the laptop until I can get it replaced. No biggie. Only a week till I can get a spare from home (we've got a couple extra keyboards lying around someplace.)

Currently watching Mike Rowe get himself completely covered in straw-some sort of erosion prevention this time. I happen to really like this show he's got. He goes around and does these jobs that are rather nasty-hence the title of the show, Dirty Jobs.

Some of them are truly horrendous (when he cleaned some sort of pump at the San Francisco wastewater treatment plant I nearly hurled in sympathy.) He actually does them, doesn't just stand there and report on it. He respects those who know what the hell they're doing; he gets that he sucks at most of the tasks he's set to. He's willing to get chastised when he screws up (quite often.) And best of all, he's willing to laugh at himself when he does mess up.

Wondering at the moment if I should go to the store or not today. Left knee's still a little off; it feels better than yesterday (less feeling like someone's shoving a spear behind my kneecap) but I barely trust it. Should probably wait till tomorrow. I figure having a needle shoved into it requires a couple days of rest, especially when everything in my body tends to need three extra days and several pillows to recover from even being touched.
